Fernando Ching joins us at the peak of his 15 years of hospitality experience. Following his graduation from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Fernando entered the hospitality industry. His experience includes Disney’s Polynesian Resort, and Dixie Landings. More recently, Fernando worked for Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando, opening the Hard Rock Hotel. His successes there led him to the opening of the Royal Pacific Resort a few years later, and then to return to Hard Rock as the Director of Housekeeping. At Shingle Creek, Fernando is responsible for overseeing Grounds, Public Areas, Uniforms and Guest Rooms.

In his spare time, Fernando enjoys friends, music, movies, or simply spending time with the two loves of his life: His wife Maria, and their daughter, Emilie.

Fernando is thrilled to be a part of the Rosen Family, excited about Shingle Creek’s successes to date, and looks forward to making the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort the biggest thing to hit Orlando since mouse ears.
