New Year’s Eve in Orlando: 10 Amazing Ways to Ring in 2023

While it may seem like 2024 just began, New Year’s Eve will be here before we know it. Whether you’re looking for an epic night out or a daytime party for the kids, you’ll find great NYE celebrations all around Orlando.

On Dec. 31, 2024, party it up at one of these 8 New Year’s Eve celebrations in Orlando.

1.        Boxi Park

Lake Nona’s popular outdoor food hall gives everyone the chance to celebrate New Year’s Eve!

The New Year’s Eve Family Event is the perfect way to celebrate with loved ones. Guests of all ages – but kids in particular – will love face painting, balloon artists, and live DJ vibes.

The party starts at 4 p.m. and leads to a countdown and ball drop at the prime time of 7 p.m.

Then, at 9 p.m., guests 21 and older can ring in the new year with an epic party featuring DJ Digital and live music from the band No Filter.

There will also be a digital ball drop with a Champagne toast at midnight, party favors, photo ops, and other exciting opportunities to celebrate.

Tickets for the late-night party are $35 when purchased in advance, or you can splurge on VIP tickets for $150, which include no line at the door, an open bar, and reserved seating.

The New Year’s Eve Family Event tickets are $10 in advance ($15 at the door) and free for kids 5 and under.

2. Jazzberry Jammin’ Noon Year’s Eve at Crayola Experience

Thanks to Jazzberry Jammin’ Noon Year’s Eve, kids can ring in 2025 without staying up past their bedtime.

Head to Crayola Experience in the Florida Mall for an artsy afternoon party. In addition to Crayola Experience’s year-round craft stations, guests will be able to make their own NYE coloring pages, resolution lists, and a special New Year’s crown.

A DJ will spin family-friendly tunes from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m., and there will be New Year’s countdowns at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

All the noon year’s fun is included with your general admission Crayola Experience ticket.

3. Afternoon Year’s Eve at the Orlando Science Center

Orlando has something fun for science-loving kiddos, too.

Orlando Science Center (OSC) features four floors of hands-on exhibits on everything from nutrition to the environment.

Every Dec. 31, the museum hosts a daytime dance party in the DinoDigs room. Show off your moves to your new T. Rex friends, then count down to 12 o’clock— noon, that is. Spend the rest of the afternoon learning about STEM fields like meteorology and physics.

Noon Year’s Eve is included in OSC admission. Adult tickets are $27.99, and kids 2-11 get in for $20.99.

4. Howl at the Moon

End 2024 with a night spent rocking out to your favorite tunes.

Howl at the Moon is a 21+ dueling piano bar on International Drive. Every NYE, they host a fabulous party with incredible live musicians.

The pianists take request, so feel free to ask them to play your favorite hit song from 2024 (or a riveting rendition of “Auld Lang Syne”).

This year, standing room only tickets are $75 per person and include a premium open bar from 9 p.m. until midnight, a Champagne toast at midnight, and party favors.

For $150 per person, you get guaranteed reserved seating and a gourmet buffet dinner with a premium open bar from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

5. SAK Comedy Lab

If your New Year’s resolution is to laugh more, get a head start with some hilarious improv comedy at downtown Orlando’s SAK Comedy Lab.

The venue is hosting three improv shows featuring SAK all-star performers on New Year’s Eve, including two family-friendly shows at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets for these shows are $22 per person.

The 10 p.m. show is adult rated and ends with an after-party and a midnight Champagne toast, which are included in the price of admission ($28).

6. New Year’s Eve Celebration at Old Town Kissimmee

Light up the night with a fun day of activities in Old Town Kissimmee.

This free, all-ages event starts at 10 a.m. with a classic car show and live music.

Then, as 2024 becomes 2025 at midnight, colorful fireworks will dance above Kissimmee. You can also enjoy Old Town’s year-round attractions, including carnival rides, a haunted house, and an indoor obstacle course.

7. Thornton Park Street Party

This NYE, party like a local in Thornton Park, a scenic neighborhood in downtown Orlando.

This 21+, open-air celebration features multiple DJ booths, stages, and drink specials from six nearby bars.

This year, general admission tickets start at $25. In past years, VIP upgrades with perks like exclusive access to certain venues and open bar privileges, were available for $60 – $150.

The Thornton Park Street Party begins at 8:00 p.m. and lasts until 2 a.m.

8. ICEBAR Orlando Ice Masquerade

The coolest New Year’s Eve party in Orlando is at ICEBAR, a unique nightlife destination featuring over 70 tons of hand carved ice.

Their New Year’s Eve masquerade party features party favors, free digital souvenirs, a Champagne bar from 11:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m., and a midnight celebration buffet at 12:30 a.m.

General admission tickets start at $50, while a select number of Ice Package tickets and VIP tickets with extended party access and open bar options are available for $85 and $150, respectively.

9. NYE Live! Orlando’s Block Party at Live! at the Pointe Orlando

The NYE Live! New Year’s Eve party is one of Orlando’s newest and biggest holiday celebrations.

With five distinct venues in one convenient location, all-inclusive food and drink packages, multiple DJs, confetti cannons, and party favors, this is a party that’s not to be missed.

Doors to the 21+ event open at 7 p.m., and the party doesn’t stop until the ball drops in 2025.

If you’re the responsible one in your party, you can purchase a Designated Driver Admission ticket for access to the party venues, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, gourmet food, and other treats.

Tickets range from $85 to $160 per person, depending on your preferred perks and access.

10. Rosen Shingle Creek
