The 6 Best Wine Bars in Orlando

By Kate Cohen

You don’t have to be an expert to enjoy a good glass of wine.

This worldly beverage has a reputation for being complicated to understand. However, a great wine bar will have everything you need to demystify and thoroughly appreciate a taste of something new.

A group of people sat around a table with glasses of wine in mid-conversation. Orlando's best wine bars are all a short drive from Rosen Shingle Creek.

Orlando is home to a variety of wine bars that are passionate about helping everyone find a glass of something they like – even if it’s beer.

Here are the top 6 wine bars in Orlando where everyone from total wine beginners to professional sommeliers can find something new and delicious to try.

The 6 Best Wine Bars in Orlando

The Wine Room

In a prime location on Park Avenue in upscale Winter Park, you’ll find The Wine Room. This venue features an incredible tasting experience that’s perfect for wine enthusiasts, experts, and novices.

Their amazing selection isn’t just appreciated locally, either; The Wine Room has received The Wine Spectator’s “Best of Award of Excellence” six years in a row.

The Wine Room is home to state-of-the-art Enomatic wine dispensing machines that showcase 156 wines from all over the world. This incredible technology allows guests to sample wines in 1 oz., 2.5 oz., or 5 oz. samples without compromising the quality of each bottle.

Each sampling of wine is purchased individually by inserting a prepaid wine tasting card directly into the machine.

To spend your visit sampling, you’ll first purchase a wine tasting card for $3. Load your card with whatever amount of money you choose. Then, tour your way through two stories of wine tasting for a unique experience that lets you pick and choose exactly what you want.

In addition to their unique wine tasting system, you can also sidle up to the bar at The Wine Room for craft beers, an array of domestic and international cheese and charcuterie, small plates and flat breads, and plenty of other delicious options.

Curious Cork Wine & Provisions

Curious Cork Wine & Provisions is one of the newest culinary additions to Lake Nona. Inspired by the travels and discoveries of two unlikely friends, this beautiful wine bar and restaurant aims to introduce guests to global flavors.

Customers can help themselves to pours of wine using self-serve Enomatic technology, including bottles from some of the world’s most legendary producers. Most of the wines found at Curious Cork can’t be found anywhere else locally.

In addition to wine, Curious Cork is also a self-pour beer bar where you can find popular and lesser-known craft beers that frequently rotate.

Visit on the weekends for their delicious brunch menu (cookie dough waffles, anyone?). Or, enjoy tasty small plates, sandwiches, and shareables to pair perfectly with your wine selection.

Eola Wine Company

In the heart of downtown Orlando is Eola Wine Company. This neighborhood wine bar has a cozy atmosphere, a welcoming and knowledgeable staff, and plenty of patio seating to enjoy your wine al fresco.

Their extensive wine menu boasts unique finds from all over the globe. Whether you’re a fan of fruit-forward whites or robust reds, you’ll be able to find the perfect vino to suit your unique palate.

Since wine pairs well with food, expect to find a menu of wine-friendly cheese and charcuterie, shareable plates, flatbread pizzas, salads, and desserts.

If you’re in the mood for beer, you can order from their menu of canned and bottled craft beer from Europe and the US, including local Orlando brews.

Wine Bar George

Wine Bar George has the unique distinction of being Florida’s only wine bar run by a Master Sommelier: George Miliotes.

Located in Disney Springs, this popular wine bar is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of shopping or before taking advantage of the many entertainment options.

Wine Bar George has an extensive list of domestic and international wines curated by Miliotes. Selections span an array of grape varieties from Chardonnay to Chenin Blanc to Cabernet Franc. Enjoy by the glass or by the bottle, or splurge on a sampling from Wine Bar George’s premier collection of reserve wines.

At the bar, you’ll find craft beers and signature cocktails, including the refreshing Frozcato made with sweet Moscato, vodka, and Disney’s famous pineapple DOLE whip.

Pair your drink with family-style plates like skirt steak or grilled whole Greek sea bass. For a more casual bite, graze on small plates like Saganaki on Fire and crispy mac and cheese bites.

Grape and the Grain

The vibe at Grape and the Grain may be intimate, but its wine list is expansive and worldly.

Grape and the Grain was founded from a desire to create a comfortable place where all wine drinkers can gather, learn, and enjoy. Now, this neighborhood wine bar has become a community favorite.

You’ll find Grape and the Grain in the Mills 50 district, a funky area known for its diverse bars and restaurants.

Their menu consists of a selection of wines as eclectic as their décor, with fun and funky blends and varietals that you may not have had before. Pair it with a delicious charcuterie board or check out the food trucks onsite on the weekends.

Throughout the week, you’ll find a variety of fun events taking place at Grape and the Grain. From Comedy nights to live music on the beautiful back patio to DJ-accompanied brunch, there’s always something delightfully entertaining happening at this chic local wine bar.
